Family Hub: Expense Tracking — Effective March 24, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how X91 Apps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Family Hub: Expense Tracking ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (used for authentication)
- Display name (optional)
- Profile photo (optional)
- Authentication provider (Google, Apple, or email)
Financial Data
- Transaction amounts, descriptions, and dates
- Categories and tags you assign to transactions
- Account names and balances
- Images attached to transactions (receipts, etc.)
Group Data
- Group membership information
- Invitation codes generated and used
Usage Data
- App usage analytics (screens visited, features used)
- Crash reports and error logs
- Device type and operating system version
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the expense tracking service
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account
- To sync your data across devices within your group
- To send local notifications about planned transactions
- To improve the App through analytics and crash reporting
- To process subscription payments (via App Store or Google Play)
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check
- RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management
- Apple/Google — Sign-in authentication providers and payment processing
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the Europe (eur3) region using Firebase Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your group's data is restricted to authenticated group members through Firebase Security Rules.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your financial data is shared only with members of your group within the App. We do not display advertisements.
7. Your Rights
- Access: View all your data within the App
- Correction: Edit your profile and transaction data at any time
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data via Settings > Profile > Delete Account
- Data Portability: Export your transaction data as CSV or PDF
If you are a resident of the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Children
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
